Work so far on 0.2.5


A large amount of my time on 0.2.5 so far has been related to the scene and making it look good. To further that goal, I've created a few new models in Blender that replace placeholders, specifically the terminal and structure objectives. All new is the wall light, made to give a source to all the random lighting that appears through the level and ground the space more in reality. Another thing I've added are boxes that can be affected by physics. They are placed all around the level in different configurations and offer a break in line of sight as well as some scenery. All of these new models can be seen in the images attached to this post.

Other than models I have also been working on optimization and bug fixes. As I've been testing recently, it became very obvious that the bots have a lot of problems still and need to get a good amount of fixes before the next update.  I also noticed a lot of issues with the objectives that make the missions very hard to finish or which interfere with the bots, breaking them or making them do strange things.

The changes that I made to stats in the last update also seem to be having some issues so I will be looking over those as well.

I am still actively working on the next update and will be improving all the things I mentioned here. Though, issues pop up all the time so don't be surprised when the update comes out with all sorts of changes.
