The Future Of This Project

So, now that the game is available for the public to test and play I figure I should state what the future of this project will be. I do not intend to leave the game incomplete, buggy, or ugly looking and will continue work until I believe it is in a good state. Currently, I have already made a lot of changes to fix the more obvious problems like resolution and scaling problems. I also began to flesh out the stats located on the load-out panel (where all the player stats are located) so that they all serve a purpose. As I had stated in my devlog when I put out the first release, most of the stats don't actually do anything, and so far I have already replaced 3 of them. Also, I am aware that the actual game play section of the game is very lacking visually and the game play is not where I want it yet. Over time I hope to vastly improve the visuals with props, environmental objects, lighting, materials and sound. These things and much more will be available over the next few weeks if I don't run into any major development issues.

But to get back to the point of this post, I will be having as active a development on this platform as I can. Whenever I upload a new version of the game, I will also post a log with all of the changes. Whenever I make a new model and place it into the game, I will showcase it with images on here. In the end, I hope that Reliance can become a fun tactical team-based game where interacting with enemy and friendly bots is interesting and useful. I want it to live up to it's namesake so that players really do have to rely on their allies, and feel good doing it.

Stay tuned and I'll try to make it worth your while!
